Who We Are

New Albany Safety Town introduced Graduate Camp as a Pilot Program in 2016 and as a result of its’ success we are pleased to welcome Graduate Camp as one of the programs we provide to families. Graduate Camp is designed for children entering 1st or 2nd grade who have already graduated from Safety Town. The camp is taught by State Certified Teachers, New Albany Police Officers, and Plain Township Firefighters along with student volunteers and community subject matter experts and partners.

What We Teach

This 1-week camp provides more in-depth education on various safety topics such as Pedestrian Safety, Roundabout Crossing Safety, Fire Prevention, Fire Evacuation and Planning, Police Education to include Stranger Awareness, Online Cautions, 9-1-1, and Emergency Drills, and Extended Water Safety including a day at the pool.
